5th grade

5th graders will start of the year playing an Aesthetics Award Game. The main purpose of the game is for students to recognize that art is valued for many different reasons. Students will work in small groups, talking about the selected artworks and trying to come to a decision on how they will place the aesthetic awards. Students will quickly realize that what they may find beautiful, another may respectfully disagree.
